Day 10: Looking to Him

Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. – Psalm 34:5

I want to thank you for joining me these last 10 days. I hope our journey together has been one of hope, encouragement, and truth.

I hope through this time together, you have begun a new journey to knowing Who you are in Christ, restoring your relationships, seeking and giving forgiveness, and preparing for some amazing restoration.

I used to let shame control me. It was my wardrobe. I wore it everywhere. Then God got my attention with Psalm 34:5. He reminded me that those who look to Him are radiant. He was talking about me! Friend, He is talking about you too.

Webster’s Dictionary defines radiant as radiating rays or reflecting beams of light. It also means to be marked by or expressive of love, confidence, or happiness.

If you are in Christ Jesus, this defines you. You’re a beam of light. Love radiates from you. Happiness belongs to you. Confidence is yours. You just have to take it.

Throw shame aside and let other see the radiance of a forgiving, loving, graceful, merciful God shine through you.

I actually have this verse tattooed on my wrist to remind me that shame does not belong to me, but radiance does. I’m not saying you need to get a tattoo, but you get the point. Memorize this Scripture. Take it everywhere you go.

Remember…. YOU are radiant and your faces are NEVER covered with shame.

Loving you…
